“Tightrope City” – Poetry Reading – Carl Robinette

I’ve been experimenting with these reading videos for years now. To what end is still unclear to me. I have a couple more coming soon, so stay tuned.

“Tightrope City” was first published by Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. Read it here: Tightrope City – Poem – Carl Robinette

The follow up poem (“The Lost Poem”) was also published this year by EQMM. Learn More about The Lost Poem

The article said , they printed three poems and two stories. I read two poems and one story. I had read poem three times. Please answer me, Is the character dead or alive? My interpretation is that he survives and he is ready to fight back. Am I right?

I am so smart. I like the poem. Specially the rhythm. I read aloud. There is a movement, like a destiny. I like the end. Unexpected.
