Last Minute Thoughts on Millennials, Acronyms, and Bullets

I’m thirty-four but I was a minor in the new millennium for sixteen days before I turned eighteen in January 2000. This apparently qualifies me as a Millennial by about two weeks. As the youngest of four siblings, with my brothers and sisters all Generation X’ers, I don’t really know what it means to be a Millennial, but it seems to have a lot to do with short attention spans, The Cloud, acronyms like DIY, and a general abstinence from the printed word.

Not all menudo is created equal. So, when National City council member Luis Natividad told Chula Vista council member Rudy Ramirez that his local restaurant had the best menudo in San Diego County, Ramirez challenged Natividad to put his menudo where his mouth is.
