“The Lost Poem” was originally published by Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine

“The Lost Poem” is Carl’s fourth published poem and fourth entry in Ellery Queen where he has previously published two short stories and one poem.

“The Lost Poem” can currently be read in the Jan/Feb Issue 2025 of Ellery Queen. It will be published here when Ellery Queen’s exclusive publishing rights expire in a few months. 

It is part of Carl’s Dick Ulysses Mystery poem series. The previous poem, “Tightrope City” was published by Ellery Queen last year.

A third poem in the series, as well as a new short story by Carl, are slated for publication in Ellery Queen later this year.
